The Electronics Communication Engineering (ECE) Department at BVRIT-Narsapur is commemorating its 25th anniversary since its establishment in 1999. Initially founded with a commitment to providing cutting-edge education, training, and research opportunities in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering, the department has since evolved into a hub of excellence and innovation.
Notably, the Department of ECE has been recognized as a Research Center by JNTUH since 2022, enabling its faculty members to supervise research scholars appointed by JNTUH. Furthermore, the department has received NBA accreditation for the period 2022-2025, affirming its dedication to maintaining high academic standards.With state-of-the-art special laboratories in Embedded Systems, Digital Signal Processing, VLSI Design, Robotics, Advanced Communications, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, the department provides students with hands-on experience using the latest tools and modules from industry leaders such as Cadence, Synopsys, Xilinx, National Instruments, Texas Instruments, and MATLAB.
In addition to academic endeavours, the department conducts Add-on courses and training programs in collaboration with industry partners like CYIENT, SYNOPSYS, XILINX, CADENCE, NI, Jay Robotics, TI, and C-DAC, offering students practical skills and industry exposure.Moreover, students are encouraged to participate in various contests and hackathons such as the TI Design contest, L&T Techgium Contest, TCS Codevita, Smart India Hackathon, Sankalp Hackathon, Rural Innovators Startup Conclave, and Hack with Infy, fostering innovation and creativity among the student community.
