Dr. K Lakshmi Prasad is a Director of B. V. Raju Institute of Technology, Vishnupur, Narsapur. He worked as Principal & Dean at Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) Visakhapatnam. He did his graduation from JNTUA, Anantapur(1979-83) and post-graduation from IIT Bombay (1983-85). He pursued his doctoral and research work at IIT Bombay. He handled two sponsored research and development projects worth 3.8 crores sponsored by the Dept of Science & Technology, MHRD, Govt of India 2014-18 as Principal Investigator. He is a member of Indian Society for Technical Education- MISTE, Board of studies in Architecture and planning, and served as a Chairman.
